FO: Lady Chadwick Cap

It's finished! AND in one week!! I think that's a new record for me.

It's a new pattern by Andrea, a Jane Austen-esque cap pattern called Lady Chadwick Cap that I tested for her. It is wonderful! She has designed another winner!

I used scrumptious Louisa Harding Kashmir Aran. with US 9s for the cable band and US 8s for the cap portion. My gauge is so goofy. I wish they had an US 8.5. US 9s were too loose and 8s...well 8s might be tighter than I prefer (It's better than the mini tambini... ROFLMAO!!) The pattern has easy to memorize repeats. It makes a fabulous fabric and texture.

Time for a trip to Jo-Ann's to look for a large post button.

You know what? It's pretty damn hard to take a decent picture of yourself modeling a hat. Nothing flattering happens. I'll get a better picture after I get the button.
